Overview

When Pixar came to Vancouver, they wanted to feel as though they were already a part of the landscape here. Upon the suggestion of Evoke, Pixar’s design team visited our studio and were immediately drawn to the bold chunks of wood, branches, and tree trunks. They wanted to incorporate the energy that these pieces exuded within a modern context.

The results of this were huge panels of western red cedar end grain, fitted precisely to display their natural grandeur. After all, great projects begin with great stories.
