Gallery + Studio Rental:

Your booking of either space also includes set up and tear down. You will have access after 5 pm on Friday until Sunday at 10 am. All items and garbage MUST be removed by 10 am on Sunday or there will be an additional fee applied.
Any items stored overnight are the sole responsibility of the occupant. We are not responsible for any items left on our premises during your occupation.
All clients must obtain and show proof of $5 million in general liability insurance and must list ‘Brent Comber Originals‘ and ‘The District of North Vancouver’ as additionally insured.
Proof of insurance needs to be provided 60 days before your event.
Occupants are responsible for all catering and necessary rentals along with set-up, tear-down, cleaning of the space, and garbage disposal.
*Additional fees will be applied for any garbage left on-site including recycling*
If you wish to serve alcoholic beverages in either our gallery or studio, you are required to obtain a special event permit and provide a copy to Brent Comber Originals prior to your event. Apply online at:
Tents are permitted inside the studio and the back parking lot. Size must be approved by Brent Comber Originals before installation.
Studio/Workshop: You have the complete freedom to explore your inner artist and transform this large open space to bring your true vision to life. Please respect any existing structures and workspaces. Any damage caused to unfinished pieces, workspaces, shelving, or stored wood will be charged to the organizer at current market prices.
Gallery: Absolutely NO nails, tacks, staples, or duct tape is to be used. All decorations must be approved by Brent Comber Originals before installation and must be removed immediately after the event. No dry ice or smoke machines are to be used at any point during the event. Any damages caused to artwork will be charged to the organizer at current market prices.
Candles must be enclosed in a votive. No tapered candles. Absolutely no pyrotechnics are allowed indoors.
All decorations hung from the ceiling and walls must be removed by event organizers. No loose materials such as confetti, or glitter. Ensure everything is removed carefully and thoughtfully as charges will be applied for any remaining items or garbage left in the space.

$250 per hour, minimum 2-hour rental (weekday bookings available)

For 2023 and 2024 bookings, 50% of the total venue fee is required to confirm the booking and is payable upon signing the agreement. We accept cheques, e-transfer, and credit cards.
Any group canceling within 60 days of the booking will be charged the full space rental.
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
